Chinese NY~

Yesterday, had another driving lesson, learnt U-Turn, haha.. that was fun man! U-turn is quite easy to grasp~ Hahaha.. I think I should be learning parking soon le ba~ Hardest of all! Then, go into the circuit, my practical test in 4 months' time, is there sufficient time for me to be well-versed in all parts of the test? Hope so...

Now still Backstreets' fever, blasting my stereo with their songs, old and latest, and my mp3 player as well~~~ Groovy baby!

Small disappointment at the concert, why they never sing "Safest Place To Hide"?

Memoirs with BSB~

After school, I went to watch "Memoirs Of The Geisha"...

Firstly, this young gal acting as the young Chiyo impressed me with her acting, she looks like the younger version of another lead, Gong Li~

Gong Li's bitterness, jealously, slutty emotions all protrayed very well, I was so overwhelmed by how she can act...

Ken Wantanabe acts the charming gentleman inside, very mature~ Zhang Ziyi's performance wasn't too bad, but I'd prefer Gong Li's acting.. And their english, Michelle Yeoh was the best la.. I hate 'pumpkins'~ Despicable Pumpkin! Hahahaha...

Oh, saw the preview of the movie, "Da Vinci Code", splendid! 99% similar to the original novel by Dan Brown~ Definitely not gonna miss it for the world~

After that, settled an early dinner at "The Manhattan Fish Market"~ Service was, thumbs up~ Great brief recommendations by server, iced water was served as soon as we were seated (Note: Some restaurants have to wait like after ordering or worse, have to request for it)~

I tried both dishes, above is the flamed prawns & below is baked fish~ The prawns was heated by a fire before you~ Cool.. Hahaha.. The cheesy + mayo prawns was delicious~ Yummy yummy! And the baked fish was with herbs, quite nice also...

After dinner, headed to Indoor Stadium for the Backstreet Boys Never Gone Tour~ The route to the stadium was slightly better now, at least cars don't passes you with a distance of 5cm ONLY~

We had to do some checks before entering, apart from bag checks, there was a new implement, body check.. Haha.. Oh, managed to sneak my water bottle in.. Yeah! It started at 8.25pm and ended at 10.15pm~ They started quite punctual, unlike Blue.. Haiz... When the lights goes off, the crowd was as if on with a screaming device, screamings was continously, note, it is really continuously! My view was spectacular, can see the boys so clearly, and I realised, Nick Carter put on ALOT of weight~ It's really ALOT, hell LOT! Hahahaa... Seeing them dancing, so unison, just one person, seems having difficulty to dance.. Hahahaa...

Can really see their effort in performing, with the dances, Brian is so hyper, kept bubbling around, a father of a son already, still so energetic! Hahaa.. And A.J's voice was awesome, when they sing "I'll Never Break Your Heart", A.J did the final ending, the way his voice came out, so groovy, so R&B, not a pitch flat! Just one thing I don't like is that crowd keep screaming non stop, can't really appreciate their melodious voices they possessed naturally~

There's this idiot beside me, kept blocking me, I mean, hello? I bought the same price as you, and our seats are side by side, what makes you keep blocking me from infront lor? Idiot really leh! And lucky, when Brian jumped up to the audience seats of my side, that idiot and friends immediately run over, we didn't, therefore, we took over the place that idiot was depriving us! Hmpf! I like the ending part, "Backstreet's Back", it was so so so HIGH!!!

And our buttock really itchy, originally can reach home earlier, but we took the train to Pasir Ris, and the last train left already lor, so have to take another bus home~ Pi4 Gu3 Yang3!

Summaries of the weekends...

It was Granny Joann's 21st birthday on Sunday, but we celebrated on Saturday at "Changing Appetites"...

I had their CA Steak, quite nice, it's cheesy, and got seaweed on top, and the best part, the steak was so 'Q', frankly, never eat steak as 'Q' as this.. Haha.. The seaweed was a good compliment to the cheese steak...

After dinner, went to find Sirong at Bakerzin, took a group picture, but the process was quite hilarious, to others, we seemed to be smiling at the pillar as we self timed our shots.. Haha..

On Sunday, went Ricetable for Zebin's birthday celebration... It was a belated one...

Happy belated 21st birthday~ Zebin called our class guys for a gathering as well, haven't seen them since 2004? It's nice to know what they're doing.. Haha.. Shall upload the group photos when I got them from the guys... Oh, thanks to Wei Seng for the trip home~

Lazy to blog..

Ooh... Been feeling a bit sianz to come up here to blog.. Here's a summary of the events, lazy to go into details~

On Saturday, went to where I went last Saturday, so I was in the same place for 2 consecutive Saturdays... Had lunch at Hard Rock~ Then went City Hall area, went to Funan to check out some IT stuffs~ Then had lunch at this good place called "Sushi Don", nice food, nice ambience, the service was good, the air con temperature was perfect, not too cold nor hot, and the I never drank such good miso soup before~

Today, went for lunch at IKEA, I love the sweet and sour fish there.. Haha.. And the chicken wings was crispy... Hahaa...

By the way, changed the song to Fann Wong's Chen Yi Qie Lai De Ji~ (When things aren't still able to salvage~)... I don't really like Fann Wong but I like this song of hers, a pretty old song, at least 6 years ago~ Enjoy.. The lyrics are beautiful~~~

Friday the 13th~~~

Hmm.. Friday the 13th~~ nothing really much to blog about.. Blogging out of habit.. Just that quite happy, and at the same time, quite irritated that the sun has come out... Happy because, finally, my clothes are able to dry themselves, irritated because the sun makes me pespire at the wrong time... Hahaha...

Anyway, currently reading Dan's Digital Fortress... Well, his the other 2 books was very exciting, but as you came to the third book, you can see his style, expect the unexpected, no kick in reading his book le, but I still strongly recommend the "Angels & Demons", as well as "Da Vinci Code"... I think whichever you read first, it'll be the most intriguing.. Hahaha.. Yupz...

Life Made Simple

Currently watching the above show now, Life Made Simple~ Ah Wang is so cute! He's so innocent that he actually put his turtle into the safebox in the bank... He showed Jessica the dead turtle, then Jessica aka his 'wife', ask him in shock, why he go and put the turtle in the safebox? His mentality: You put your most precious thing in the safebox to safe guard it, therefore, he put his tortoise which is given by his 'wife', into the safebox... Wahahahahaha!!!! So cute & innocent thinking.. Ya, and he did a lot of 'simple-minded' things that made him so adorable!! Hahahaha...

I think his life is really "Life Made Simple", what a suitable english titled name for this show! But I really don't like his hair.. Haha.. Now at episode 3~~~

Busy Busy Bee...

Had a busy weekend... On Saturday, went out whole day... Went RELC first to pay the exams fees... Bloody lotsa of people, lucky I pay by cheque, so just let the people there verify some things, and I deposit it with an enclosed envelope in the box, no need to queue... After that, headed to some ulu places (definitely not Punggol~) and booked something... And it was raining~ On & off, heavy downpour between the light drizzles...

And then headed City Hall area... My favourite Hisatoma Restaurant is closed! I was so disappointed, =( I hope the outlet at Dohby Ghaut still there... So tried Aiwo~ Hahaha.. I love the chicken with bamboo shoots! Marvellous~~~

On Sunday, I had a really tiring day~ I repainted my room... Now I realised, painting was fun but slightly tiring... But the most tiring was not the painting part, it's the part when you clear up after you paint! My room is still in total mess now... Hmm... But it's most less dusty now... Hahaha.. Shifted some of the deco as well.. Feels like I shifted house.. hahhahaa.. By the way, I'm still getting used to my room's new coat colour of PINK! It's just so not me!! Not my choice anyway... =Shudders=

Today, I think because of the rain, cool weather, and some-things-that-I-rather-keep-confidential reasons, I was freezing cold in the lecture hall.. This's so just not me again! I think I'm getting sick.. Headaches finding me again.. And I had my driving lesson today... Learning right turn, hope I won't stall car when doing the turn, otherwise will kena the summon.. Also, had my first tuition lesson with my new tutee for the year today...

And, I realised => It's harder to reject someone's invitation that you're not close, rather than someone close...

Near accident...

Had my sixth driving lesson yesterday.. Ooh, nearly had an accident... My instructor let me go on a very busy road with a lot of traffic... Then while stopping at a red light at a slope, I left the clutch too high and so the car stalled... Then in my panic, I only remember to free the gear & restart the car while forgetting to depress the brake! Nearly hit a lorry behind me... Luckily, my instructor slam the brake... Hmm.. Thank God.. But after that heart stopping moment, everything was smooth after that.. Haha...

And, also went KBox in the morning.. Sang a lot of oldies from artistes like Grasshoppers & Jeff Chang, was quite embarrassed when the server came in to put drinks & lunches.. Hahaha.. And this time, the KBox's service really improved! I can continue to frequent this outlet le.. hahaha...

And tomorrow got a short IBM test, wish me luck! Exams coming soon!!! And the fees are getting more & more expensive!

Reopening school...

Woa... Reopened school le... So woke up early, and headed to school... POA really headache... Need to pull up my socks le.. And, the exams fees, quite expensive.. Stupid! Argh!

Bless me to get through this course with aimed results! I don't wish to burden my parents for extra costs that are caused by my own blunder & laziness by not studying hard... Por bee por bee (Bless in hokkien).. Haha... Exams also coming soon le, wish me luck!

Happy 2006!

It'a 5.05am as I type this blog... Been 5 hours and 5 minutes since we ushered into the year, 2006~ Currently at Mac's house.. Had lotsa fun just now...

Before that, I went to Orchard with LY to find some places, but we got bluffed by 2 security guards, lucky we didn't follow that second guard's words, otherwise, we'd have walk for 'fun'... We realised he gave us wrong directions... Argh~ And there was heavy downpour earlier... My pants are wet by the rain..

After that, met JM, and headed to Mac's house.... Had some food and some chit chatting... After dilly daly, the 'war' started.. Hahaha.. Kept some sprays and poppers in Mac's room for reserve.. Hahaha.. Then, we started playing at the second level, aimming those at ground floor... Hahaha.. After that, we went down & join in the spraying fun... Actually, first time lar, normally, I'd just stayed in the room and enjoyed the air con & TV... This year, we all went down, and started spraying to everyone we see.. Hahaha...

Then, stupid Edmund, throw water bomb at us, lucky he aimed the bottom, otherwise, I'll be wet thoroughly.. Hahaa.. So my pants got wet again.. Argh! Anyway, the 'war' ended, and we started cleaning up, as usual~~~ Then settled down & talk...

Now, the guys behind me are playing Black Jack.. Noisy bunch.. Hahaa.. Maybe I'll leave at 6am ba... Take train home... See first.. Hahahaa...
